I am an experienced and creative freelance television cameraman and editor. I started working as a cameraman in 1986. Since then I have worked on all sorts of television programmes from kids shows to major documentaries as well as commercials and corporate videos. My professional approach, creative camera and editing skills combined with my friendly personality make me welcome wherever I am working. A good selection of lights, a camera jib (crane) and a comprehensive sound kit including radio mics. I also have two HD/SD non linear edit suites, one in the office and one laptop system.

I have a lot of mini-cam experience and have fitted cameras in aircraft, racing cars, motorcycles and power boats as well using covert cameras for undercover filming. My rates are competitive and my "all-in" equipment and "shoot and edit" package represents excellent value for money. HD at SD Rates without cutting corners!

I have a Sony XDCAM HD camcorder with Canon HD lens along with Avid Media Composer and Final Cut Studio edit suites. This amazing disk based HD/SD system can shoot at any frame rate up to 60fps, progressive or interlace. In simple terms it offers stunning broadcast approved HD images with the speed and flexibilty of a non-linear disk based system along with a wide range of specila effects including true slow motion and timelapse. The best bit though is the cost, exactly the same as SD. VIDEO DIARIES, EVENT VIDEOS.

One of my specialties is event videos and diaries. These quick turn-around productions can be shown on the day of the event, or offered as a gift to take away. This service is perfect for conference or event organisers that want a short video of the event that can be shown at the end of the day. I shoot the event highlights then use one of my dedicated laptop edit suites to create a short music video. Prices start at £450.00 for a one day event. FLAT RATE Filming or editing!

I like to keep life simple so I charge a single flat rate for shooting or editing. Whether it's HD or SD, PAL or NTSC if I can do it with my kit then the cost is £450.00 per 9 hour day. The only extras would normally be Disk or Tape stock, mileage at £0.40 per mile (first 50 miles included free) and any out of pocket expenses such as tolls or accomadation. Comprehensive Range of Equipment.

I have a very comrehensive range of shooting and editing equipment. As well as my F350 XDCAM HD camcorder I have HDV and DVCAM camcorders, battery kits, tungsten and flourescent lighting, sound kit with mixer and radio mics, walkie talkies, monitors, a camera jib, and tracking dolly. For editing I have a Quad Core MacPro and Macbook laptop, both running Avid Media Composer and Final Cut Studio. The main edit suite has HDSDI, SDI Component and Y/C inputs and outputs and can easily handle uncompressed 10bit HD.

I have been filming severe weather events for nearly 8 years and have built up a comprehensive library of storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, lightning, rain, hail, gales and snowstorms.
